Why can't we just get along????
Today I was thinking about my kids and wondering why they just can't seem to get along. So I decided to go back and dig up some photos of some of the times they did get along. Just for my own sanity today. I did find 3 which I have shared with you. Itdoes bring back fun memories for me just to remind myself that deep down they do love each other. I hardly remember fighting with my own brothers and sisters but we did. So hopefully they will love each other as much as I love my family!(when they are older) :) I just need to remember that "We do not remember days, we remember moments"!

You know, I seem to remember my mom saying "STOP FIGHTING!" and "LEAVE HER/HIM ALONE!" and "DO YOU WANT A SPANKING?" and "GO TO YOUR ROOM!" and... so on and so on and so on - A LOT! BUT, ironically, I remember the fun times we had - dressing Kevin up in dresses and making him put on shows at the bottom of the stairs while our family sat on the stairs in the "stadium seating". I remember my sister and I playing Little House on the Prairie and making "houses" (including walk-in closets and full bathrooms and swimming pools - which I am sure Laura Ingalls had in her one room shanty on the shores of silver lake, but just failed to mention) out of grass clippings and leaves. I remember bike rides and trampoline Olympics until it was way too dark to see - so, yeah. I guess maybe we had problems but fortunately they don't stick as well as the good stuff!
ReplyDeleteOH I remember the fighting or should I say just you sitting on my head and letting one rip!!!! Ha Ha Ha :) (I hope all you friends enjoy that one!) Didn't know that side of Taneil huh :) I do that is what we love about sisters right.
