Today, I ran across this video and memories came flooding back. When my sister and our family first found out about her cancer all we were worried about was her losing all her hair. It's seems funny now but that was so HUGE. One day she came to my house and showed me this video. We sat and cried. The funny part was she was telling me not to worry and it would be okay. She couldn't stand it when I "lost it" in front of her. I wonder if there will be a day that I don't think about her...

ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I couldn't pull up the you tube clip. I miss Chelsea too and think you are an amazing family! Oh, and will you tell Shay to invite me to her blog...thanks!
ReplyDeleteI found you! I lost my nephew to cancer a few years ago...he was only 3. I think of him, too, whenever I hear that song. I agree that seeing your loved one lose their hair is one of the hardest parts of cancer! I am so sorry for your loss!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for having the kids over on Friday...they had a blast! I sent a bag to school with Kamri to give to Ethan. If you don't get it, let me know! And send me an email, and I'll add you to my list...kimberlysorenson@gmail.com.
I should have read this before I posted my last blog. Now you are going to think I am copying you. Sorry that you are sad. It hurts doesn't it. There will be a day... I promise.
